Many regions of the Caribbean are isolated geographically and rely on radio to stay in contact with the outside world. The RCC Network will provide quality and current reporting to isolated Caribbean regions through public affair programs. Every region of the Caribbean express’s itself in its own unique way and the RCC Network will capture this expression through seeking programmers, staff, and members from communities where our radio stations are located. Many parts of the Caribbean are home to a wide variety of ethnic groups which will be given radio time on stations in various regions. Africa is the motherland of all humanity and the international recognition of African heritage will be the bases for various public affair & musical programming. The heritage of Indigenous groups in the various communities we broadcast in will be preserved through our radio programming. Public affair and musical programming will at times reflect various movements around the world for social justice and human rights.
International news, community news, health programs, educational programs, sports, business, spiritual, public service announcements, will consist of a large part of the public affair programming. The diverse musical genres of the world from World music, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Jazz, American music, and more will consist of a majority of our radio stations overall programming. The Radio Carib Community Network will require individual stations to form democratic local station boards and membership. Membership to individual stations will be set by each stations by-law drawn up by founding local board members and the RCC Network international board representatives. The RCC Network invites you to join us to help promote love in our communities and the greater world.
